Beyond the portfolio, Joel has hosted major coffee competitions in Indonesia and spearheaded World of Coffee Jakarta 2025 as the largest contributing partner. In 2025 he travelled to Milan to support the Indonesian Barista Champion with AKSI as Indonesia competed alongside fifty-three other countries.
